The Indian Head Penny was minted from 1859 to 1909. The 95 percent copper penny was designed by James B. Longacre and titled Liberty with head dress. The obverse features the words United States of America encircling Liberty wearing a feather head dress. The reverse features a wreath and shield encircling the words One Cent. The $20 Confederate note was minted from 1861 to 1864. Their designs vary from year to year. The 1995 Civil War Battlefields Half Dollar was to commemorative 100 years of Civil War battlefields preservation. The Civil War Coin and Currency Collection is housed in a clear vinyl protective portfolio for maximum viewing pleasure. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
