The Olympic Commemorative Silver Dollar was issued to mark the XXIII Olympics held in Los Angeles, California. The genuine commemorative coin issued by the United States Mint features the Olympic Gateway on the obverse and a bald eagle with an olive branch on the reverse. The coin is 90% silver and was minted in 1983 and 1984. The silver dollar coin was designed by Robert Graham and minted at Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
